What documents are accepted for verification?

To verify your identity, you’ll need to provide a valid, unexpired U.S.-issued government photo ID and complete a live selfie verification.

You can use one of the following:

  • Driver’s license
  • State-issued ID card
  • U.S. passport
  • U.S. work permit

Your identification document must be issued in the United States and must:

  • Be valid and not expired
  • Clearly show your full name
  • Be easy to read, with no glare or blur

During the verification process, you’ll be asked to upload a photo of your ID and take a live selfie. This helps us confirm your identity and that the document belongs to you.

If your document doesn’t meet these requirements, we may not be able to verify your identity. If that happens, you’ll be asked to try again with an eligible document.

Tip: Before uploading your ID, make sure all the information is clearly visible and that the document is not expired.
